Business Visa Options
There are various UK business visas and schemes for those interested in a UK visa. There is no single set of basic requirements that applies to every business visa for UK, so a variety of the most popular UK business visa forms are set out for you below.
Tier 1 Visa – Entrepreneur
In the entrepreneur category of Tier 1 of the Points-Based System (PBS), candidates can apply to immigrate to Great Britain based on a hefty investment and the necessary UK visa documents. An immigrant is classified as an entrepreneur if they start or assume control of a British business. A minimum of £200,000 is needed to start up the business and there are various UK business visa rules about education, experience and employees.
Tier 1 Visa – Investor
Those who wish to become an investor in Great Britain will have to meet strict UK business visa requirements. These include – but are not limited to- having at least one million pounds at your disposal (of which three-quarters would be invested in either unit trusts or private companies), spending at least half your time living in the UK and meeting the necessary English language standards. A UK business visa interview will test your eligibility based on all of these factors.
Tier 2 Visa – Intra Company Transfers
The UK business visa rules for this particular type require you to have been employed by an overseas branch of your company for a period of six months or more before the application is submitted. Likewise, you’ll have to demonstrate that you have the relevant knowledge and experience to fulfil the role. The validity of this UK business visa is anywhere from one day and five years, depending on the length of time requested by the sponsoring company.
