Persons of Indian Origin (PIO Card) India immigration visa application
If you are of Indian origin you can apply for this type of India immigration, allowing you to enjoy visa-free travel in and out of India for a period of 15 years.
To be eligible for PIO immigration to India you must have either been born in India, held an Indian passport at some stage or have Indian family members or an Indian partner.
Full Indian citizenship can be applied for after seven years residing in India.
